Ball mill is marginal drive and central discharge. It has discharge device which consists of end cover, bucket, gears, reducer, motor, etc. The materials enter bucket by feeder through hollow shaft. When the bucket is whirling, it creates centrifugal force and frication and the steel balls and ores raise to a certain height. The material goes down by gravity with orbit of parabola. The theory of material grinded is the impact force created by steel balls and the movement of balls. The materials are discharged by end cover through hollow shaft. In the process of wet grinding, the ores are taken away by water; in dry grinding, the ores are taken away by airflow. The whirling of ball mill is by reducer driven by motor through gears. The pinion gear is joggled with gearwheel installed on the bucket. The gearwheel whirls at constant speed to drive bucket working.
