First, in many sand making plants in Guangxi, river pebbles are small in size, which are generally under 40mm. Such particles don not need jaw crusher to do primary crushing. Thus, we can directly design a ground transit silo. Raw materials mined by sand mining boats can be directly taken by belt conveyer from the silo to sand making machine for making sands. The discharged materials are screened by vibrating screen. Large particles that do not satisfy needs are returned to the silo, while the qualified ones are sent to the area of finished products.
Second, when materials are too large and can not enter the sand making machine, then the primary crushing is necessary. As to river pebbles, the cone crusher can play such a role. As such small materials in rivers are decreasing, the cone crusher gets more widely used in sand making plants.
